![]() why should they have to be together for the rest of their days? they wanted out of their previous confinement, found that freedom in each other, and now will go on to whatever is next. in this case, that value may have been to finally end misery in previous relationships, and clearly have a great time transitioning into their new lives. I think its great that people keep growing, and i dont think the end of a relationship 'proves' anything other than that not all relationships need to last forever to have their value. Welcome to the blast jadagirl!! glad it was funny, but my guess is that probably some people on here don't share your view about the sanctity of marriage or the need for ever-lasting relationships or the idea that children can't handle complexity, and that honesty of emotion should be trumped by contracts in the realm of personal growth. And that's from an Evert Fan! One that isn't wearing rose-colored fan glases. They deserve any unhappiness they may be experiencing now. Well, I didn't wish their marriage to fail, but come on! They had affairs and left destruction for their families (selfish, selfish) when under 18 kids are involved. You could tell it wasn't sincere, they were doing that for their public images, that had taken a big hit. a kind fan linked on here, what a charade. I watched the Aussie 60 minutes interview with Chris and Greg from Feb. And the virtrol thrown at Greg's ex-wife on here was ridiculous. I've been a huge fan of hers, but I never thought she was beautiful or anything, I was a fan of her skill. I don't know, I just find fans of Chris' highlarious at times. Now they're separated! So you had the fans on here shooting down anyone who said "what goes around comes around" type posts.ĭaze and pinpoint and Chrissiefan were the funniest posts to read and then wham, the separation news comes out. I think what she and Greg Norman did to their respective spouses was shameful at best. 21 - 'Rough Waters Part Chris from Shark'Īs a longtime Chris Evert fan this has got to be the funniest thread I've ever read on the net about her. Makes you sick.Īnd now he has Chrissie to go with his gazillions. The creases in his tanned face only seem to make him more handsome. His hair hasn't changed either the curls still flow down over the collar. I'm thinking the women must be thinking the same thing about The Shark. Her skin is smooth, and she looks beautifully fit in her form-fitting red sweat pants. Sunglasses hide her eyes, but her blond hair looks impossibly unchanged. Now we're following her around on a golf course. ![]() How bizarre, huh? Thirty years ago we're on the couch, starstruck. Now, she's Greg Norman's soon-to-be wife. She fueled thousands of guys' interest in tennis, and then ruiined it for many of us when no one since her could compare. ![]() As cute as another crush, Valerie Bertinelli, but even more appealing because she was one of the best athletes on the planet. Man, she was cookin' with gas in the '70s and '80s. For two days, she been walking among the great unwashed, enduring almost constant stares from geeked-out guys like me.Ĭhris Evert. This year, the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am's biggest celebrity isn't inside the ropes. OK, so maybe STALKING isn't quite the right way to put it, but it felt a little like that today as I ventured out to the Spyglass Hill Golf Club to see my junior high crush, the woman of my dreams in 1976. ![]()
